To all,

Sorry my French is so bad, I have only studied it for 12 weeks, and that was years ago. The conference was the occasion of the Pontifical High Mass in Vancouver Canada of Bishop Rifan, and the comments concerning the liberalization of the Mass came privately from Fr. Ashley, who is involved in a petition drive to bring about a world-wide Apostolic Administration (rather than the limited one of Campos Brazil). Fr. Ashley's group is called Opus Marie Mediatrix, but it has no formal status yet. The only thing that was unclear was the timing, but it sounded like the decree was coming from Cardinal Arinze as head of the Congregation for Divine Worship. I was hoping someone might have news of that in France who could confirm it. Of course, we shall have to wait and see, probably some time after Holy Week. Oremus.
